INVITATION TO TENDER
TENDER No: 28/04/2016
DESCRIPTION: DISASTER MANAGEMENT SHELTERS
In terms of section 54(4) of the Disaster Management Act 32 of 2002, Dannhauser Municipality is inviting bidders for Disaster mitigation in relation to provision of shelters to the victims.
The compulsory site briefing will be held on the 05/05/2016 at 10H00, at Dannhauser Library Activity Room, 08 church Street Dannhauser Municipality. Tender documents will be issued on the day of the compulsory site briefing at a Non-Refundable fee of R250.00 which is payable at the Cashiers Office.

This bid will be evaluated in terms of the 90/10 preferential point system as prescribed in the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (No 5 of 2000).

In terms of section 13 of the municipal Supply Chain management Policy and the official tender procedures, the Municipality will reject all tenders that do not comply with the following conditions.

1. Bidders that have not furnished the Municipality with :
- CIPRO registration Certificate “CK” and NHBRC Certificate
- Original Tax Clearance Certificate from SARS and CIDB Grading 3GB or higher.
2. Current municipal rates account and Company Profile
3. Bidders that have not completed the MBD forms of the tender document

CONDITIONS
- Bidders must be registered with Dannhauser Municipality Supplier Database; forms are available from the website www.dannhauser.gov.za and from the SCM Unit.
- Preference will be given to companies with relevant previous experience and which comply with BBBEE, the EPWP and its implementation.

Tenders must be submitted in a sealed envelope; clearly marked “TENDER NO: 28/04/2016 DISASTER MANAGEMENT SHELTERS” and must be deposited into the tender box situated at the reception area of Dannhauser Municipal offices. Tenders should be received no later than 12H00 on 19 May 2016, where after bids will be opened in public. Late, emailed or faxed bids will not be accepted
