NOTICE OF INTENTION TO AMEND THE CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT OF AN
INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR’S APPOINTMENTAS EFFECTED IN TERMS OF
THE MUNICIPAL SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT POLICY OF THE DANNHAUSER
MUNICIPALITY
In terms of Section 116(3) of the Municipal Finance Act No. 56 of 2003, the
Dannhauser Municipality herewith informing its community about its intention to amend
the contract of appointment of the Contractor called TSQWAKELO PTY LTD by
extending their contracts of appointment for the construction of industrial structural
incubator in ward 2.
The grounds for the extension are inter alia, the following:
1. Acknowledging the fact that the service provider responsible for the
implementation of industrial structural incubator in ward 2 had been
appointed through competitive bidding process.
2. That the service provider in question is executing the said project
successfully; and the project is at eighty five percent completion stage.
3. Realization of 2020/2021 annual budget publized to the community by the
mayor on behalf of the council.
4. To achieve a close out on the IDP objective as set, with due regard to the
balance of term of council.
The purpose of this publication is to invite the community of Dannhauser to submit
representations to the municipality in respect of this extension.
The closing date of submission of representations is 21 JANUARY 2021.
